Extending theology into the practical realm requires a theoretical framework. The central question of this study is: How can a theoretical framework for practical theology be developed based on Quranic teachings? To answer this, we draw upon the philosophical insights of Muslim philosophers, integrating their diverse theories into a macro theory called the "System of Truth." "Truth" (ḥaqq), as the fundamental aspect of existence (and the world), reflects both the internal order of beings and the systematic relationship of each being with the rest within the cosmos. The distinct feature of the "System of Truth" theory as a theoretical framework for developing a "practical model" is its potential to offer the optimal model of individual and social lifestyle for human success in actions and the attainment of possible goals. It, ultimately, presents a well-suited approach for achieving peace and tranquility, a timeless human desire. This practical model is achieved through the channel of "truth-based ontology." In order to clarify the extensive concrete and practical aspects of this theory for formulating a practical model, four examples of practical extensions of this approach, as presented by Muslim philosophers, are explained in the final section of the article. The most significant contribution of this article (and theory) is the utilization of the rich and solid heritage of Islamic theoretical wisdom (Quranic, mystical, and rational ontology) under a unified macro theory aimed at maximizing benefits in practical philosophy.
