When discussing the influence of empirical propositions on philosophy, the mind is often diverted toward a specific case: the use of empirical propositions as premises in theological arguments. However, logically, there are multiple conceivable ways in which experience and knowledge derived from it can impact metaphysics (ilāhiyyāt bi al-ma`nā al-a‘am). In fact, after referring to philosophy books, we find instances of its various types. Prominent thinkers, such as Murtada Mutahhari, have acknowledged the various types of this influence. However, according to findings, contemporary philosophers have not comprehensively explored these types. It is obvious, understanding the various ways empirical knowledge influences theology can be a useful guide for philosophers to assess the validity of philosophical arguments. This article seeks to inquire about different types of influences. In total, eight categories of the influence of natural sciences on divinity in the general sense are identified. For each category, examples are drawn to the extent possible from al-Shawāhid al-Rubūbiyyah - a concise and refined work in Transcendent Philosophy.
