Abstract
In the political-theological thought of Ansar Allah, religion and politics are conceived as inseparable, and martyr Hussein al-Houthi likewise upheld this fundamental principle in the formation of an Islamic government. This study examines and analyzes the political theology of Ansar Allah. Its aim is to identify the principal components of Houthi political-theological thought as one of the most significant Zaydi movements in Yemen. Governance has occupied a central position in Zaydi political-theological thought, and at certain periods Zaydis have also established relatively stable rule. In the contemporary period, Ansar Allah seeks to revive Islamic governance through Houthi political thought. Using a descriptive–analytical method, the researcher attempts to uncover the key components of the political-theological thought of Ansar Allah in Yemen, with particular emphasis on the ideas of Hussein al-Houthi, and to present their theory of governance. According to the findings of the study, the main components of Houthi political-theological thought include: legitimacy, popular grounding, opposition to hegemonic domination, recognition of enemies, and the doctrine of resistance and armed uprising. These components entail consequences such as the preservation of human dignity, spiritual security, tranquility, social welfare and security, comprehensive independence, the cultivation of moral virtues, the elimination of dictatorship and despotism, freedom, independence, unity, and territorial integrity
