For this reason, ontological issues have always influenced epistemological perspectives. Given the profound transformations that the metaphysical foundations of Transcendent Philosophy have brought about regarding existence in general, and the issue of knowledge in particular, examining the extent to which the foundations of this school impact epistemological discussions becomes an unavoidable necessity. Accordingly, this paper, adopting an analytical–documentary method, seeks to identify the ontological approaches of this school that pertain to knowledge. The degree of influence exerted by its philosophical doctrines on key epistemological issues is evaluated. The findings show that the distinctive ontological perspectives of Transcendent Philosophy — such as the concomitance of knowledge and existence, the unity of the knower and the known, and the correspondence of realms — introduce fundamental changes in areas such as the value of knowledge, the possibility of knowing the external world, and the analysis of how error arises in cognition. Among these fundamental changes is the conclusion that the true essence of existence can only be apprehended through presential knowledge. These influences are expounded in detail under each of the metaphysical principles of Transcendent Philosophy. از آنجا که معرفت، امری هستی‌مند می‌باشد، بررسیِ نحوه واقعیت‌مندیِ این پدیده، در کشفِ عملکرد آن تأثیرگذار خواهد بود. به همین جهت مسائل هستی‌شناسی، همواره نگرش‌های معرفت‌شناسانه را متأثر می‌کند. با توجه به تحولات شگرفی که مبانی متافیزیکیِ حکمت متعالیه درباره هستی به طور عام و مسئله علم به طور خاص، ایجاد کرده است؛ بررسی میزان تأثیر مبانیِ این مکتب بر مباحث معرفت‌شناسی، ضرورتی اجتناب ناپذیراست. از این رو این نوشته درصدد آن است تا با روش تحلیلی - اسنادی، رهیافت‌های هستی‌شناسنه این مکتب که ناظر به معرفت می‌باشد را احصاء نموده و میزان تأثیر نظریات فلسفی این مکتب در مسائل مطرح در معرفت‌شناسی را بررسی نماید. این بررسی نشان می‌دهد که نگرش‌های هستی‌شناختی خاص حکمت متعالیه، همچون تساوق علم و وجود، اتحاد عالم و معلوم، تطابق عوالم و... در مباحثی همچون ارزش معرفت، امکان معرفت به خارج و همچنین تحلیل چگونگیِ شکل‌گیری خطا در معرفت، تغییرات بنیادینی همچون انحصار فهم حاقّ هستی از راه حضوری ایجاد می‌کند که به تفصیل این تاثیرات ذیل هر یک از مبانی متافیزیکیِ حکمت متعالیه، تبیین می‌گردد.
